You will assemble products, performing mechanical and electrical integration, preparing assemblies for end-of-line testing, and collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly of prototype or low-volume hardware products.
• Experience with precision mechanical & electrical assembly.
• Familiarity with common assembly tools: torque wrenches (calibrated), crimpers, soldering irons, hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools.
• Ability to work in an engineering and production environment with build rate targets and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute build campaigns for subassemblies and full system integration across multiple products.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Complete final integration of subassemblies into full systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, wiring schematics, and assembly work instructions to build products to design intent.
• Support the varying development builds and maintain quality and throughput targets.
• Track build progress against production schedule, flag parts shortages or design issues, and communicate status to production leadership.
• Prepare assemblies and subassemblies for end-of-line functional testing and performance characterization.
• Prepare completed robot assemblies for system-level testing and safety validation.
• Document build deviations, non-conformances, and quality incidents per established procedures.
• Support firmware and software integration by verifying hardware readiness and cable/connector integrity prior to software loading.

Education

Associate degree or technical certification in electromechanical technology, mechatronics, robotics, or related field

3+ years hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly experience

Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
