Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking skilled Electromechanical Build Technicians in the Boston area to execute build campaigns for products under development for Amazon.

In this hands‑on role, you will assemble products, perform mechanical and electrical integration, and prepare assemblies for end‑of‑line testing while collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers. Candidates should have 3+ years of related experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical assembly of prototype or low-volume hardware
• Experience with precision mechanical and electrical assembly
• Familiarity with common assembly tools (torque wrenches, crimpers, soldering irons, hand and power tools)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering and production environment with build rate targets and quality standards
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Execute build campaigns for subassemblies and full system integration
• Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Prepare assemblies for end-of-line testing and system validation
• Interpret engineering drawings and wiring schematics to build to design intent
• Document build deviations and quality incidents per procedures
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers throughout the build process
• Provide DFA feedback to engineering to improve reliability and reduce cycle time
• Support multiple concurrent build programs as product lines evolve
