Build What Moves PeopleYou’ll join Siemens Mobility as an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist helping craft the systems that keep rail transportation safe and reliable. We’re a Great Place to Work certified organization, and we’re looking for meticulous builders who thrive in hands-on environments.A day in your week (Mon–Thu, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)Morning starts with reviewing drawings and work instructions. You’ll set up production equipment, gather parts, and plan your build. As the day moves on, you’ll:Interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, bills of materials, and specifications to define assembly steps.Assemble, align, position, and fasten parts, subassemblies, and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates.Drill, tap, ream, and countersink features; prep parts for mounting hardware or wiring.Strip and crimp conductors, then lay out, route, and terminate wiring and cables.Wire panels and cabinets from electrical schematics with clean, organized routing.Measure, inspect, and electrically test parts, wiring, assemblies, and circuits to confirm quality and performance meet customer requirements.You’ll wrap up by documenting results, partnering with teammates on continuous improvements, and preparing the next build.Tools and tech you’ll handleMultimeterCalipers and micrometersAssembly equipment and fixturesElectrical schematicsMechanical drawingsDrawing and spec interpretationWhat you’ll bringHigh school diploma or equivalent.Background in electromechanical assembly, wiring, and reading schematic drawings.Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and operate power tools and equipment.Clear communication skills, including the ability to read, speak, and write in English.Safety-first mindset, fast learner, collaborative team player.Work settingComfort working in non-climate-controlled areas and, when needed, in inclement weather.Schedule and bonus1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. This position also offers a one-time sign-on bonus of $1,000, less applicable taxes, payable after 180 days of employment.BenefitsSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
