Job summary

Industrial Physics Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician Team Lead to guide daily production on the floor, build, wire, configure, calibrate and test industrial measurement systems.

You will supervise technicians, translate production priorities into assignments, train staff, review workmanship, and ensure safe, compliant operations while coordinating with Engineering and Quality.

Qualifications

5+ years assembling, wiring, testing industrial equipment or similar systems.
At least 1 year training or coordinating other technicians.
Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Ability to read schematics, drawings, BOMs and procedures.
Proficient in Windows, software installation and Excel.

Responsibilities

Assemble panels, back-panel assemblies, ICUs, subassemblies and complete measurement systems from schematics.
Mount components and route cables, terminate wires, and ensure labels are correct.
Inspect workmanship against drawings and quality requirements.
Set up Windows computers, peripherals, networks, and install approved software.
Operate SpecMetrix software to configure, calibrate, test and validate systems.
Train and coordinate technicians, monitor progress and safety, and escalate issues.
