Ducommun in Carson, CA is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler II to perform high-skill assembly of RF switches, pushbutton assemblies, and related products, using schematics and wiring diagrams with strong soldering practice.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Complete paperwork and shop travelers accurately.
• Follow internal procedures and policies.
• Follow verbal, written or diagram instructions.
• Perform basic arithmetic with units and fractions.
• Manufacturing experience with soldering and electronics assembly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Safety oriented and team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-skill level electronic and electromechanical assembly using schematics, drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications.
• Soldering and wiring along with cable routing in difficult access areas.
• May participate in final assembly or production build-up of complex sub-assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and rework production items as needed.
• Verify shop packet completeness and correct discrepancies with support personnel.
• Plan work sequences and determine workability of completed items.
• Ensure completion is signed off before proceeding to the next process.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
