Job summary

Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler I to join our 1st shift. You will perform all process steps to assemble mechanical and electrode assemblies, maintain 6S on workspaces, and complete daily production docs.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1 year small part assembly experience, the ability to read blueprints and SOPs, and basic measurement tool use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of small part assembly experience (preferred).
• Able to read blueprints and standard operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of measuring devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers).
• Experience with magnification equipment such as microscopes or eye loops is preferred.
• Willingness to work different shifts or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrode assemblies per documented processes.
• Assist with shipping and delivery coordination to QA and Shipping.
• Clean, pack, and process finished goods.
• Complete daily production documentation accurately for each order.
• Maintain high precision with minimal rework and pass QC inspections.
• Complete orders start to finish within standard cycle times.
• Use hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment as required.
• Maintain 6S on workspaces and equipment; perform preventive maintenance checks.
