Job summary

Kform seeks an Assembly Technician to build, integrate, inspect, and test mechanical and electromechanical products used in defense systems. You will work from engineering drawings, BOMs, and travelers to assemble accurately with hand and power tools, ensuring traceability and quality.

Responsibilities include cable routing, enclosure assembly, and device testing, with a focus on process adherence and documentation in a high-mix environment. On-site in Sterling, VA.

Qualifications

• Read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Experience with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic electrical test equipment.
• Ability to identify hardware, materials, and workmanship defects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical products per drawings and instructions.
• Install fasteners, brackets, panels, connectors, and wiring with proper tooling.
• Travel cables, routing, labeling, and enclosure assembly for system integration.
• Perform basic continuity, functional, and operational tests per procedures.
• Record labor, materials, serial numbers, test results, and inspections accurately.
• Maintain quality, traceability, and clean workstation per 5S practices.
