Job summary

Chipton-Ross, Inc. seeks an Assembler for a contract role in Orlando, FL. You will read schematics, assemble and wire components, and document results in the MRP system. The position requires batch QC, wiring harnessing, and adherence to safety and process standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in aerospace/defense or related fields, plus WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 familiarity. Full-time, 4/10 shift, contingent on milestones and background checks.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on assembly experience required.
• Proficiency with crimping, soldering, and torque tools.
• High school diploma; higher certs (IPC 610/OSHA 10) a plus.
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, safety compliance, proactive learner.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire assemblies: power boxes, panels, joysticks, and related hardware.
• Read blueprints, schematics and BOMs; install LEDs, switches, fasteners.
• Route, dress, strip, and crimp wires; perform inspections and document results in MRP.
• Perform mechanical joining and electrical integration per EMC guidelines.
