Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Production Assembler 3 to perform hands-on mechanical and electromechanical assembly and rework in an indoor manufacturing facility. The role is on the 1st shift, 5x8 days with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and may require nights and overtime.

You will work to ensure product quality for downstream teams and customers. Responsibilities include disassembly, assembly, rework, soldering to IPC-A-610B standards, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation in alignment with 5S

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment and inspection aids.
Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimum testing of electrical/electronic equipment.
Use electric soldering equipment and hand tools to meet IPC-A-610B standards and procedures.
Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires; prepare batteries; apply conformal coat; bonding tasks.
Follow written and verbal instructions and complete work per specifications under supervision.
Conduct self- and peer-inspections to ensure drawings and quality standards are met.
