Job summary

Indotronix is seeking an entry-level Electromechanical Assembler to support our Phoenix, AZ manufacturing site.

You will perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly, use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and participate in inspections to ensure quality. This is a 12-month contract with a 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly per work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, gauges.
• Assemble, install, fit, fasten, and adjust components.
• Inspect assemblies and report quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document production.

The assembler will perform a variety of mechanical and electromechanical assembly, fabrication, testing, and inspection activities on aerospace products and components.This is a hands-on manufacturing position well suited for candidates who are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with small components and hand tools, and interested in developing a career in aerospace manufacturing.Key Responsibilities• Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of components and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.• Use common hand tools, power tools, fixtures, gauges, and other production equipment.• Assemble, install, fit, fasten, and adjust components and hardware.• Perform basic electrical/electromechanical assembly operations.• Follow written work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and assembly drawings.• Perform visual inspections and basic testing to ensure completed assemblies meet quality requirements.• Identify and report damaged parts, incorrect components, workmanship issues, or other production problems.• Complete required manufacturing and production documentation accurately.• Maintain a clean and organized work area.• Follow all environmental, health, safety, and quality procedures.• Work collaboratively with production leads, quality personnel, manufacturing engineers, and other assemblers.• Meet established production, quality, and safety expectations.Basic Qualifications• High school diploma or GED.• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality.• Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical manufacturing tasks.• Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds.
