JOB SUMMARY

Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well established precedents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Working under the microscopes for long periods of time.
Handling of small parts and piezoelectric crystals.
Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques.
Intermediate mechanical assembly of small parts.
Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
High voltage potting and high voltage testing.

Pay rate: $18.90 - $25.20/hr based on years of electromechanical experience.

1st shift: 5:30 AM – 2 PM

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE — LEVEL 3: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three or more years of related electronics assembly experience. J-STD-001 Certification preferred. The company must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
LANGUAGE SKILLS — LEVEL 2: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS — LEVEL 1: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY — LEVEL 1: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
