The Electroencephalogram Technician II conducts medical tests that measure electrical activity of the brain and can be used to help diagnose conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain tumors. This position performs routine and complex Electroencephalogram (EEG) tests and calibrations to meet professional standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Working under general supervision, this position also maintains and troubleshoots EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION:
Required: Graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics or a combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 3 years.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered EEG Technologist
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
