Job summary

VCU Health is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist TTWP to perform routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures in clinical labs, inpatient and epilepsy units, including EEG, AEEG and EMU. The role covers Polysomnogram and intraoperative monitoring while serving as a technical resource for ENDT I.

Required ABRET registry, CPR certification, and weekend/holiday coverage for Epilepsy Monitoring Unit procedures. Hospital-based teamwork and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of basic medical, patient care related experience.
• Experience and proficiency in two (2) electroneurodiagnostic modalities (e.g. EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, etc.)
• Two or more years of work experience in electroneurodiagnostic lab setting.
• Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP).
• Takes initiative to acquire and maintain knowledge base; participates in conferences and technical training.
