Teragen Energy Corporation is hiring an Electrochemical Test Engineer to design test protocols for SOFC cells and stacks, run tests, and convert results into actionable analysis. You will report to the CTO and collaborate with Cell and Mechanical Engineering teams across full cell and stack testing.
The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, rigorous documentation, and the development of repeatable test practices to improve confidence, traceability, and decision quality.
Teragen Energy Corporation (“Teragen Energy”) is revolutionizing how AI data centers and broader industries get powered, by building the next generation solid oxide fuel cell platform. Rooted in the technology developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and validated by ARPA-E, our mission is to deliver affordable, reliable, clean fuel cell power where it is needed the most to enable power security and flexibility for customers. Founded by technologists, scientists, and energy project developers, we are a fast-paced deep-tech company moving from lab-scale prototypes towards commercial module design - ideal stage for your work to directly shape how power is generated in 21st century, towards terawatt-hour scale.
We are hiring an Electrochemical Test Engineer to ensure the data driving Teragen's discissions are data driven. This role will design test protocols, run and oversee testing across cells and stacks, and turn results into analysis the team can act on. Initial focus areas include performance validation, reliability testing, and the translation of data to milestone-linked test evidence. You will report directly to the CTO and work with the existing Cell and Mechanical Engineering across the full cell & stack testing.
Decisions here are driven by data, not seniority or consensus. We run minimal process and maximum communication. You will be trusted to work autonomously while keeping your work visible, documented, and impactful to the team.
The data generated in this role will not simply be reported; it will be acted on. As the team grows, so will this role's influence over what Teragen tests, learns, and builds next.
