Teragen Energy Corporation is seeking a hands‑on Ceramic Engineer to join our cell and stack fabrication team. You will work on powder and ink formulation, forming, coating, and sintering to develop and scale single cells, seals, and interconnects for next‑gen SOFCs.
You will collaborate with the team to drive repeatable manufacturing processes, transition from lab methods to robust production, and contribute to power‑dense, low‑carbon energy solutions for customers.
Teragen Energy Corporation (“Teragen Energy”) is revolutionizing how AI data centers and broader industries get powered, by building the next generation solid oxide fuel cell platform. Rooted in the technology developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and validated by ARPA-E, our mission is to deliver affordable, reliable, clean fuel cell power where it is needed the most to enable power security and flexibility for customers. Founded by technologists, scientists, and energy project developers, we are a fast-paced deep-tech company moving from lab-scale prototypes towards commercial module design - ideal stage for your work to directly shape how power is generated in 21st century, towards terawatt-hour scale.
We are looking for a hands‑on Ceramic Engineer who loves building, tweaking, and troubleshooting real hardware to join our cell and stack fabrication team. You'll work alongside the entire Teragen team on the day-to-day work of building advanced SOFC cells and stacks: powder and ink formulation, forming, coating, and sintering, with a particular focus on developing and scaling single cells, seal and interconnects.
Decisions here are driven by data, not seniority or consensus. We run minimal process and maximum communication. You will be trusted to work autonomously while keeping your work visible, documented, and impactful to the team.
This role sits at the heart of Teragen's technology. Every process you develop, every cell you fabricate, and every experiment you run contributes directly to our path from laboratory innovation to commercial product. Every experiment maps to a product milestone, and every milestone moves us closer to putting reliable, low‑carbon power into the hands of customers.
