Job summary

Travertine is seeking a Technician to advance its electrochemical process at the Boulder, CO facility. You will set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze experimental work packages and collaborate with a cross-functional team of scientists and engineers to ensure safe and stable operation of pilot systems.

The role requires an associate degree or higher in a related field and hands-on experience with continuous-flow processes, lab bench, and pilot equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining chemical apparatus or unit operations designed for continuous flow processes.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to sharing observations and findings from assigned experiments.
• Detail oriented and organized with careful attention to environmental health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform experiments at lab and pilot scale under supervision; collect and analyze data.
• Maintain continuous device operation with daily checks and system monitoring.
• Troubleshoot issues during experiments to minimize downtime and report findings.
• Assist with upgrades and maintenance of experimental systems and infrastructure.
• Operate standard electrochemical devices under guidance of senior personnel.
