Job summary

Solid Power, Inc. is seeking an Electrochemical Engineer to advance next-generation all-solid-state batteries.

You will characterize electrolyte materials, execute electrochemical tests, and translate results into engineering insights supporting product development and pilot manufacturing. You will apply techniques like EIS, CV, and impedance analysis while collaborating across teams to drive process improvements and scale-up from pre-pilot to pilot production.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in electrochemistry or related field.
• 3+ years of electrochemical characterization in batteries or related tech.
• Experience with EIS, CV, and data interpretation.
• DOE design and data-driven conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret electrochemical experiments to evaluate solid-state electrolyte products.
• Translate electrochemical feedback into product and process improvements.
• Correlate processing, properties, and microstructure to performance for PSPP understanding.
• Perform EIS, CV, CCD testing, DC polarization, long-term cycling, and related analyses.
• Support methods development and statistical evaluation of results.
• Contribute to root-cause investigations and cross-functional projects.
• Communicate findings clearly to engineers, scientists, and stakeholders.
