Job summary

Saft is seeking an Electrochemical Engineer to provide electrochemical product support and development for batteries and battery systems. You will collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, and quality to resolve issues and ensure system performance while maintaining cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities include interfacing with sales and marketing to meet customer requirements, reviewing engineering changes, and supporting production through problem resolution and data-driven testing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electro Chemistry, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with batteries.
• 5+ years in product/process design and analytical testing.
• Experience in concurrent engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrochemical product support and development for batteries and battery systems.
• Support manufacturing, purchasing, and quality to resolve issues.
• Interface with sales/marketing to meet system requirements and cost targets.
• Review engineering changes and maintain configuration management.
