Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters/PhD in physics, EE, optics, astronomy or related field
• 2+ years of industry experience or time spent pursuing advanced degree
• Strong hardware, laboratory, data analysis and software skills
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, IDL or similar programming languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with customers and contractors
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Support development of visible/IR sensor systems for space surveillance and related programs
• Lead/perform FPA characterization and AI&T for prototype sensors
• Coordinate tasks with program offices and customers to report progress and resolve technical issues
