Job summary

Envision Technology, LLC. is seeking a senior manufacturing/Mechanical engineer to transition complex electro-optical systems from development to production.

You will design processes, organize workflows, and collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and program management to meet program goals. The role emphasizes hands-on integration, fixture/tooling development, and compliant testing for harsh military environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
• Experience with electro-optical systems design and production is highly desirable.
• Experience with equipment for harsh military environments and MIL-STD-810 familiarity.
• Hands-on system integration and test experience.
• Creativity and strong problem-solving for manufacturability.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to interact with customers and suppliers.
• Able to move up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineering, operations and quality to lead transition of products from development to production.
• Develop manufacturing processes and procedures for building complex electro-optical systems.
• Establish workflows, space requirements and equipment layout to improve efficiency.
• Create work instructions for assembly and provide training to assemblers.
• Develop and install fixtures, tooling, and equipment to support production.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, quality and program management to meet goals.
• Lead or supervise troubleshooting and failure analysis of systems from production and returns.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair.
