Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Louisville, KY is seeking an electrical/electro-optical design engineer to contribute to the development of gas and solid-state lasers, masers, infrared, and other light-emitting devices. You will design circuitry and optical components to meet strict specifications within mechanical limits.

You should have hands-on experience with Zuken/Xpedition or Altium, PCB layout, and Worst Case Circuit Analysis, plus familiarity with lasers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience with Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA)
Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout design
Demonstrated design experience with Zuken/Xpedition/Altium

Responsibilities

Designs electronic circuitry and optical components to fit within specified mechanical limits and to perform according to specifications.
May conduct application analysis to determine commercial, industrial, scientific, medical, military or other use for electro-optical devices.
