Job summary

CACI International Inc in Danbury, CT is seeking an Environmental Test Technician to set up and conduct testing on electro-optical systems under environmental stresses such as vacuum, temperature, and vibration. This is a 2nd shift role, Monday–Friday, 3:00PM–11:30PM.

Under minimal supervision, you will maintain test procedures, operate lab equipment, document data, and support environmental chamber maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in an Environmental Test Lab.
• Skilled in the operation of test lab equipment and the performance of testing.
• Intermediate computer skills with ability to utilize MS Office and Outlook.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct testing on electro-optical systems under environmental stresses.
• Perform varied environmental tests and maintain detailed procedures and data.
• Maintain environmental chambers and related support equipment.
• Install and instrument hardware to be tested; maintain logs and status board.
• Perform test equipment preventative maintenance activities.
• Work area 5S and maintain test area.
• Interface with test and quality engineers.
