Job summary

Premier Health Partners seeks an EEG Technician to independently perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including routine and long-term EEGs and evoked potentials. The role requires strong knowledge of EEG, LTM/CEEG, ICU monitoring, and EP performance, with professional communication to neurologists and staff.

On-call responsibilities may be involved. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred, and CPR certification is mandatory.

Independently performs neurodiagnostic procedures including both routine & long-term electroencephalograms (EEGs) and all modalities of evoked potential procedures under their scope of practice. Is knowledgeable in correct EEG, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous (CEEG)/ICU monitoring, and evoked potential (EP) performance and recognition of clinically significant events and follows the facility’s policy and procedures. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of exams and communicates effectively with the neurologist and other staff members. May have on call responsibilities.

Education

• Education Required: High School completion / GED

Experience
