Premier Health is seeking an EEG technologist to independently perform routine and long-term electroencephalograms and evoked potential procedures. The role requires knowledge of LTM, CEEG/ICU monitoring, and interpretation of events with neurologist collaboration.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and board-eligible status for R.EEG.T and R.EP.T. On-call duties may be required, and EMR proficiency is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Independently performs neurodiagnostic procedures including routine & long-term EEGs and evoked potential procedures.
• Knowledge of EEG, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous (CEEG)/ICU monitoring, and EP performance.
• Exercises professional judgement in exam performance and communicates with the neurologist and staff.
• May have on-call responsibilities.

Independently performs neurodiagnostic procedures including both routine & long-term electroencephalograms (EEGs) and all modalities of evoked potential procedures under their scope of practice. Is knowledgeable in correct EEG, long-term monitoring (LTM), continuous (CEEG)/ICU monitoring, and evoked potential (EP) performance and recognition of clinically significant events and follows the facility’s policy and procedures. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of exams and communicates effectively with the neurologist and other staff members. May have on call responsibilities.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• CPR Certification required

Experience

Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience

Preferred experience: Two years of experience in Electroencephalograms (EEG) and Evoked Potentials, (EP)
