Job summary

Plastic Express is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and repair of warehouse and packaging equipment. You will assist the supervisor with scheduling and real-time operations to maximize resources and meet productivity goals.

The role requires electro-mechanical knowledge, ability to diagnose and repair equipment, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or two years’ experience in maintenance field.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance: mechanical, electrical, painting, HVAC, minor repairs.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information.
• Ability to provide technical support during installation of new equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License may be necessary for operating equipment at some sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of damaged equipment for repair.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to maximize readiness and safety.
• Receive and allocate tools, equipment and parts to work areas.
• Move and position vehicles and equipment to enable maintenance work.
• Inspect machinery for defects and ensure proper function.
• Submit part and service requests to third parties as needed.
