Job summary

Glīd Technologies is seeking an electro-mechanical engineer to turn complex electromechanical systems into real, working vehicles. You will design and integrate systems for autonomous dual-mode platforms, creating a foundation for present and future vehicle programs with tight quality and manufacturability standards.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience designing electromechanical systems for complex vehicles or industrial platforms.
• Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks, Catia, NX).
• Hands-on experience with wiring harnesses, power systems, sensors, and assemblies.
• Excellent cross-disciplinary collaboration and ability to lead integration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Drive design and development of electromechanical systems and components.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
• Perform calculations, tolerance analyses, and FEA to meet standards and requirements.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems into vehicle platforms.
• Collaborate to define interface requirements, integration plans, and assembly processes.
• Develop and validate integration procedures for continuous improvement.
• Hands-on assembly, wiring, and harness routing.
• Support fabrication teams to achieve production-friendly designs.
