Entegris in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Engineering Technician III to join our Electro-Mechanical and Instrumentation Engineering team within Advanced Purity Solutions. The role supports lab activities for product development, prototype assembly, test execution, diagnostics, and documentation for electro-mechanical systems.

You will collaborate with engineers to conduct lab testing, assemble and modify prototypes, document results, troubleshoot control-related issues, and assist with design

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical/electro-mechanical field.
• Hands-on experience in engineering lab or product development environment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab testing on electro-mechanical assemblies per plans and safety rules.
• Document test setups, observations and results clearly in approved systems.
• Assemble, wire, modify and troubleshoot prototype assemblies and harnesses.
• Perform electrical diagnostics with standard tools and equipment.
• Support investigations by flagging abnormal conditions and informing engineers.
• Operate lab equipment and software for testing, data collection and controls.
• Provide hands-on support for prototype builds and verification testing.
• Maintain a safe, organized lab with proper PPE and safety practices.
• Contribute to lab procedure improvements and technician instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and operations teams.
