Job summary

Hussmann is seeking an Equipment Tester to support testing across product lines in Suwanee, GA. The role requires basic troubleshooting, electrical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings.

You will use testing gauges and OHM meters, perform final product checks, and ensure proper inspection documentation. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to work with minimal supervision, overtime as needed, and cooperate with all levels of staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical experience and NEC knowledge preferred for some areas.
• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints/legends.
• Experience with testing equipment (OHM meters etc.).
• Lean concepts awareness helpful.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and with all levels of staff.
• Willing to work overtime as production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Correct problems found during testing and notify lead or supervisor.
• Interpret direction of flow on racks and electrical wiring on racks.
• Final check of product with documentation completion.
• Final review of equipment and complete inspection information.
• Operate testing gauges and electrical test equipment (OHM meters).
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Support lean initiatives (5S, 4I, ACP’s, RAT’s).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
