Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Largo, FL is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Test Technician. You will diagnose, repair, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies, generate detailed failure analyses, and support root-cause determination for warranty and production.

Strong soldering, testing, and documentation skills are required. Minimum 5 years in electro-mechanical environment, with a 2-year engineering technology degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing or lab environment.
• Accredited 2-year college degree in engineering technology or related subjects.
• 3 years’ experience with testing and failure analysis of electro-mechanical products.
• In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in the repair of digital/analog circuits, mechanical assemblies, and system level devices.
• Experience with automated test equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Testing, troubleshooting, and repair to the component through system level for both electronics and mechanical assemblies.
• Operate automated and manual test equipment.
• Follow & understand procedures, drawings, and schematics.
• Understand and be able to test and repair the assigned product lines.
• Publish accurate, detailed and timely reports of failure analysis and repair activities.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
