Job summary

Advanced Input Systems in Idaho is seeking a Bench / Production Technician to help troubleshoot, repair, and co-develop manufacturing test and automation systems. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, test and automation engineering teams to sustain production of electro-mechanical assemblies.

The role focuses on supporting production test systems, calibrating instruments, and providing fixture and tooling design input for NPI and sustaining products, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Analytical troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electronic systems.
• Familiar with PC hardware, Windows, and device driver support.
• Reads electrical schematics and troubleshoots circuit boards.
• Able to build/repair low-voltage cables; soldering and crimping.
• Experience with test development, calibration, and DVT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on production cell equipment and test systems.
• Triaged, troubleshot, and repaired production test systems in real time.
• Build, deploy, and validate production test systems from docs.
• Support prototyping and testing with Product Development Engineering.
• Contribute to test development, deployment, and management.
• Provide design details and suggest modifications.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments and circuits.
• Support fixture and tooling design for NPI and sustaining products.
• Assist product performance testing and data analysis.
• Maintain and repair production equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
