Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support radiopharmaceutical manufacturing. The role involves maintaining electro‑mechanical systems, performing basic fabrication, and ensuring safe operation of equipment across the facility.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical Electro‑Mechanical degree and experience in an FDA-regulated setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Technical degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology or equivalent; one year in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate safety and quality issues raised by customers or staff in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Facilities Maintenance to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electro‑mechanical, pneumatic, laboratory, facility, manufacturing, and radiological equipment; raise concerns to leadership as needed.
• Perform painting, drywall repair, and other cosmetic improvements or demolition as requested across NorthStar’s operations.
• Carry out basic fabrication such as cutting, drilling, and welding.
• Operate at heights safely using ladders, stairs, manlifts, boom lifts, and industry handling equipment; maintain required certifications for applicable equipment.
