Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Maintenance Technician to support its Linthicum, Maryland facility. You will repair, troubleshoot, modify, align, and install a range of electro-mechanical and electronic equipment used in production and testing.

The role requires a high school diploma with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or two years of college, plus seven years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (60 sem. hours) in Electronics or two years college in Electronics
• Six months military electronics school plus two years maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, modify, align, and install complex electro-mechanical and electronics equipment.
• Maintain fabrication, assembly and test equipment used in production and testing.
• Perform tests and calibrations to meet performance specifications.
• Repair electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and renew fluids; tighten connections.
• Update equipment with modifications from schematics and bulletins.
• Submit maintenance reports to higher classified personnel.
• Operate CNC/PLC programs; PLC ladder logic as needed.
