Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech IV to perform mechanical assembly, inspection, and testing of critical equipment. You will prepare field equipment for service, maintain a safe workspace, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and quality.

You will read drawings, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 pounds while following safety standards and documentation requirements. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, or related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
  • Comfort reading measurements and following procedures with accuracy.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of equipment and components.
  • Receive, inspect, clean, and prepare field inspection equipment for service and deployment.
  • Maintain shop supplies, tools, and equipment; keep a clean, safe work area.
  • Assist with modification and fabrication of parts for proper fit and finish.
  • Package, label, and prepare equipment for shipment to project locations.
  • Complete required documentation, inspection records, and inventory transactions.
  • Follow all safety, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to support operations and projects.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Baker Hughes Guiding Principles and safety culture.
