Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an AMO Technician to assemble, maintain and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical devices. You will interpret drawings, follow procedures and work with engineering, maintenance and operations to ensure safe, reliable performance.

The role emphasizes basic soldering, documentation, and teamwork in a high‑touch operations environment with standard business hours and opportunities for additional hours as priorities require.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or 2+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Basic electro‑mechanical assembly and soldering skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and system updates.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists to perform accurate assembly and maintenance tasks.
• Follow formal procedures, maintenance practices, and quality standards during all work activities.
• Perform basic soldering, wiring and assembly of electro‑mechanical components and devices.
• Support troubleshooting and repair activities under established guidelines.
• Document work and access procedures using basic computer skills.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and standards.
