Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech IV to support equipment readiness and operational excellence through mechanical assembly, maintenance, inspection, and testing activities. You will work with technicians and engineers to ensure safe, efficient deployment of field equipment.

Requirements include 2+ years in related roles, strong mechanical aptitude, experience with measuring tools, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, or related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and shop equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving in a mechanical/manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and basic computer apps.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly, repair, inspection, and testing of equipment and components.
  • Receive, inspect, clean, and prepare field inspection equipment for service and deployment.
  • Maintain shop supplies, tools, and equipment; keep a clean, organized, safe work area.
  • Assist with modification and fabrication of parts for proper fit and finish.
  • Package, label, and prepare equipment for shipment to project locations.
  • Complete required documentation, inspection records, and inventory transactions.
  • Follow safety policies, procedures and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Demonstrate commitment to guiding principles and safety culture.
