Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician II at our Ripon, Wisconsin facility. This role designs and troubleshoots electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits that control our machines, and supports maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.

The position requires a two-year associate degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with the ability to read schematics, use a CMMS, and lift up to 50 pounds. First shift, direct hire, full-time.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree required.
• Two to four years of relevant work experience required.
• Ability to use a computer to search for parts and enter maintenance work into a CMMS.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, as assessed during a pre-employment physical and baseline test.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used to control machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical components, including brushes and armatures.
• Install and monitor electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, and replacement needs.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, panels, breakers, conduit, and new services.
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Group Leader.
• May direct the work of employees in lower classifications.
