Job summary

IMRIS Imaging, Inc. seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble and test medical device components. The role focuses on troubleshooting, improving production procedures, and providing coaching to technicians. On-the-job training will be provided.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in complex electronic/electromechanical assembly and a technical school credential. On-site work in North Billerica, MA is required with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in assembly and test of complex electronic and electromechanical products.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs occasionally.
• Safety-conscious and able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering prints and schematics.
• Perform assembly tasks and test functional performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing and assembly problems.
• Maintain documentation including test results.
• Support production and engineering in continuous improvement.
