Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced technician in New Jersey to assemble, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems. The role requires building circuit cards, following prints and instructions, and maintaining records and inventory.

The successful candidate will interpret wiring diagrams and schematics, use hand and power tools, a microscope, and other electronic equipment. US citizenship is required, with IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems and components
• IPC J-STD-001 certified or prior certification
• U.S. citizen

Responsibilities

• Assemble, calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems and components
• Build circuit cards and test cables from prints/work instructions
• Maintain records, work status and supply inventory
• Maintain Kanban visual inventory system
• Interface with quality, material, planning, engineering and production
• Data entry in IFS for operations performed
• Cross train within department and train others
• Provide planners with parts lists for system builds
• Maintain production board for missing components
