Job summary

WITRON is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a highly automated distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep automation systems running at peak performance.

This role requires experience with industrial maintenance, 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in maintenance roles or electro-mechanical positions.
• Experience with 480V systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems.
• Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment.
• Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Use CMMS system to track maintenance activities.

• Basic computer skills (CMMS, Microsoft Office)

Physical Requirements

• Walk, stand, climb, and kneel throughout shift
• Work at heights up to80–100 feet (with PPE)
• Lift up to50 lbs. unassisted
• Work includes time incold storage and freezer environments(down to-10°F)
• Exposure to anindustrial warehouse setting with automated systems
