Job summary

Sierra Peaks in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician responsible for mechanical and electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, and wiring per wiring diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions. The candidate will take responsibility for Quality Control and troubleshooting and will learn the requirements of the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

Ability to read and work from wiring diagrams, diagrams and schematics.
Ability to read and work from assembly instructions and drawings.
Detail oriented with willingness to learn procedural work.
Familiar with standard fasteners and assembly practices.
Able to work independently and in a team.
US citizen and able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Mechanical assembly of platforms, frames, and enclosures with minor fabrication.
Support engineering development team activities.
Learn product usage through system testing.
Perform electrical testing per customer requirements.
Prepare final product for shipment and conduct basic part inspection.
Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
Other duties as assigned.
