Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 3rd shift at Meadowside. The role offers a $7,250 bonus and a pay range of $33.27/hr to $43.11/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium.

Hours are 9:00pm–5:30am, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include applying RCA techniques, maintaining utility and production equipment, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, and supporting projects and SAP data for preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Basic electrical experience/understanding required (PLCs a plus)
• Willingness to learn is essential
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, HVAC and boiler is a plus

Responsibilities

• Apply RCA techniques to improve performance of production equipment
• Maintain utility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production and utility equipment
• Work on projects including machining and fabrication
• Assist with data for preventative maintenance in SAP
• Assist with equipment installation or relocation
• Maintain facilities to Meadowside, OSHA and USDA standards
• Contribute to uptime improvements through modifications

Electro-Mechanical Technician 3rd Shift ($7,250 Bonus) (Finance)

Position Overview

Bonus: $7,250

Pay Range: $33.27/hr - $43.11/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium

Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities

• Apply RCM techniques to improve the performance of a variety of production equipment
• Perform maintenance of utility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on various production and utility equipment and apply RCA techniques to improve and eliminate future problems
• Work on projects (i.e. machining, fabrication, Capital projects and working with outside vendors)
• Help gather information to create technical equipment data for development of preventative maintenance information for SAP
• Assist with new equipment installation and/or equipment relocation
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and U.S.D.A. standards
• Be part of teams that implement ideas to improve uptime of plant equipment through equipment modifications, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenance
• Member must be highly motivated with high expectations
• Preventive maintenance of all plant equipment
• Improve uptime on plant equipment through machine modification, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenance.
• Maintain all utility areas in a neat/orderly fashion.

Experience

• Industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic Electrical experience/understanding is required (PLCs are a plus). Willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience in ammonia refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and steam generation (boiler), is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Basic computer skills required
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
