Johnsonville in Sheboygan Falls, WI seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician on the 3rd shift. This hourly role offers a $2 shift premium and a $7,250 bonus, with pay range $33.27/hr to $43.11/hr plus bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities include maintaining production and utility equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting projects and installations. Eligible candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and have strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical experience/understanding required; PLCs are a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and have basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in English is required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Apply maintenance techniques to improve production equipment reliability.
• Maintain utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and apply RCA techniques.
• Work on projects including machining, fabrication and Capital projects; coordinate with outside vendors.
• Gather information to create equipment data for preventive maintenance in SAP.
• Assist with new equipment installation or relocation.
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and USDA standards.
• Contribute to uptime improvements through modifications and layout changes.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of utility areas.

Position Overview

Bonus: $7,250

Pay Range:$33.27/hr - $43.11/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium

Responsibilities

• Apply RCM techniques to improve the performance of a variety of production equipment
• Perform maintenance of utility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on various production and utility equipment and apply RCA techniques to improve and eliminate future problems
• Work on projects (i.e. machining, fabrication, Capital projects and working with outside vendors)
• Help gather information to create technical equipment data for development of preventative maintenance information for SAP
• Assist with new equipment installation and/or equipment relocation
• Maintain facilities and equipment to meet Meadowside, OSHA and U.S.D.A. standards
• Be part of teams that implement ideas to improve uptime of plant equipment through equipment modifications, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenance
• Member must be highly motivated with high expectations
• Preventive maintenance of all plant equipment
• Improve uptime on plant equipment through machine modification, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenance.
• Maintain all utility areas in a neat/orderly fashion.

Experience

• Industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic Electrical experience/understanding is required (PLCs are a plus). Willingness to learn is essential.
• Experience in ammonia refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and steam generation (boiler), is a plus.

Skills

• Basic Electrical experience/understanding is required (PLCs are a plus). Willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Basic computer skills required
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
