Job description

The Electro Mechanical Technician will be responsible for supporting production operations, testing, and maintaining unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.

The 3rd Shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM.

What you’ll do as an Electro Mechanical Technician:
  • Possess a continuous desire for learning and improvement related to the Electro Mechanical position.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of USPC operations.
  • Perform all maintenance functions, including electro-mechanical tasks, both independently and in team environments.
  • Operate electro-mechanical equipment for USPC.
  • Complete electronics courses from an accredited university (preferably mega-tronics).
  • Show knowledge of programming USPC equipment.
  • Work with PLCs and USPC programs.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics.
We’re looking for a Electro Mechanical Technician with:
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic systems, PLCs, and USPC equipment.
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley software including RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000.
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 software.
  • Ability to use a computerized work order system.
  • High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing plant includes enclosed office and manufacturing spaces. This position requires the ability to:

  • Sit at a workstation about 20% of the time; stand and walk about 80% of the time.
  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Twist, reach, and bend.
  • Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects.
  • Operate various machine and hand tools.
  • Work around moving parts, pallets, trucks, and machines with safety precautions.
  • Wear PPE including hearing protection and steel-toed shoes.

This Electrical Mechanical Technician position is located on-site in Erlanger, KY.
