Job summary

WITRON in Tipp City, OH is seeking an electro-mechanical technician to support a highly automated distribution center. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep material handling and automation running at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with 480V systems, conveyors, motors and automation equipment, and the ability to read schematics and operate CMMS and MS

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
• Strong skills in Electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase, controls).
• Strong skills in Mechanical systems (motors, gearboxes, conveyors).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment preferred.

WITRON is hiring a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated distribution center environment. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep advanced material handling and automation systems running at peak performance.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems
• Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems

Physical Requirements:

• Walk, stand, climb, and kneel throughout shift
• Work at heights up to 80–100 feet (with PPE)
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Work includes time in cold storage and freezer environments (down to -10°F)
• Exposure to an industrial warehouse setting with automated systems
