Job summary

Smart Resources Group in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production and automated equipment. The role is a 3-month contract-to-hire, with pay rate $30–$36/hr DOE.

Applicants should have strong skills in electrical & mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs, PMs, LOTO, and the use of multimeters, schematics, and blueprints. Experience in food manufacturing or GMP environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience.
• Experience with PM and LOTO safety procedures.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and use multimeters for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on machinery.
• Diagnose faults in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Interpret schematics/blueprints and implement corrective actions.
