Position Summary
Assemble, test, maintain, or calibrate automated servo‑mechanical or electro‑mechanical equipment. May perform complex electrical wiring and/or mechanical assembly of robotics equipment/machines.
Essential Functions
- Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists
- Mechanical assembly requiring fitting, alignment and adjustments to close tolerances
- Perform mechanical alterations
- Use hand and power tools for assembly
- Use of test equipment to perform functional testing
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams
- Test performance of electromechanical assemblies using test instruments (oscilloscopes and multimeters)
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
- Inspect parts for surface defects
- Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies using hand tools
- Verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Skills & Abilities
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Associate’s Degree (two‑year college or technical school) preferred, Field of Study: Electronics or Machining.
Experience: 1+ year(s) in machine repair and building; Automotive repairs and troubleshooting.
Other Requirements: Oscilloscope, Multimeter; Ability to travel without restriction up to 30%.
