Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment (motors, sensors, pumps, control panels, automation systems).
  • Install new machinery, wiring, control systems, and mechanical components per drawings and safety standards.
  • Test and calibrate components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document activities to reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and documentation.
  • Follow electrical codes, mechanical safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and maintenance reports.
  • Work with engineers, operators, and production teams to support continuous improvement and system reliability.

Electro - Mechanical Technician
Position Summary:

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, components, and equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles to ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of machinery and production systems

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair:
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, sensors, pumps, control panels, and automation systems.
Installation:
  • Install new machinery, wiring, control systems, and mechanical components according to technical drawings, schematics, and safety standards.
Testing & Calibration:
  • Test and calibrate components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications.
Preventive Maintenance:
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
Safety Compliance:
  • Follow electrical codes, mechanical safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and maintenance reports.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineers, machine operators, and production teams to support continuous improvement and system reliability.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, sensors, drives, and control systems.
  • Proficiency with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, vibration analyzers, etc.).
