An established industry player is seeking a skilled technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring that all manufacturing equipment operates smoothly. You will work with control panels, PLC logic, and automated machines, while also maintaining safety standards and coordinating with vendors for repairs. ***2nd shift, 3pm - 11pm, competitive wage***
The primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems. A technician must possess a working knowledge of control panels, ladder logic, and the ability to upload and download programs necessary to repair and troubleshoot controls, repair automated machines, and troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to robots, automated handling equipment, control systems interfaces, and CNCs. Order and maintain necessary supplies. Maintain internal daily communication with Plant Services operations.
Education and/or Experience and Certifications and Licenses
Minimum qualifications include a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a state indentured Journeyman Industrial Electrician Card, Industrial Control Certificate, Electro-Mechanical Technology degree, or equivalent degree or experience. Possess a valid Wisconsin Operator's License, or ability to obtain one within a reasonable period of time.
