Job summary

Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join our Cedar Park, TX team. This onsite role focuses on precision hands-on electromechanical work, assembling motors, stators and coils for high-reliability systems.

You will perform detailed assembly, testing and inspection of motor components, following strict instructions and quality standards. Aerospace, EV powertrain, electronics and semiconductor backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on electromechanical assembly experience (motor/coil winding, aerospace electronics, EV powertrain, semiconductor, PCB assembly or similar).
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Location/Remote: Onsite in Cedar Park, TX (i.e., 5 days onsite/week)

Employment Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: Up to $40/hour, depending on experience

Overtime: Eligible for overtime at 1.5x pay for all hours worked over 40 each week.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) with mandatory overtime on Friday

Hours: up to 45 hours per week

We're looking for a Electro Mechanical Technician to join our growing team in Cedar Park, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a precision-driven, process-focused environment and enjoys hands-on electromechanical work. If you have experience assembling motors, stators, coils, or other high-reliability electrical/mechanical systems and you take pride in meticulous workmanship this could be an excellent fit.

In this position, you'll perform detailed assembly, testing, and inspection of electric motor components used in next-generation power and motion systems. You'll work with stators, windings, insulation systems, wiring, and precision mechanical fixtures while following strict work instructions and quality standards. Candidates from aerospace, EV powertrain, electronics, semiconductor, circuit boards, and other high-precision manufacturing environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly, motor/coil winding, aerospace electronics, EV powertrain, semiconductor, PCB assembly, or other precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience performing mechanical and electrical assembly tasks such as crimping, wiring, soldering, torque tools, epoxy/potting, and use of precision fixtures.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and revision-controlled travelers/SOPs.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with motor, generator, actuator, or electric machine assembly.
• Experience with electrical testing, such as continuity, resistance, insulation checks, or hipot testing (training provided).
• IPC-A-610 or IPC-WHMA-620 experience or certification.
• Experience in pilot-line or R&D environments supporting early-stage manufacturing.
• Familiarity with MES systems or digital travelers.
• Exposure to Lean/5S principles, ESD practices, or continuous improvement environments.
• Prior collaboration with engineering, quality, or test teams for build feedback and process refinement.
