Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures reliability by performing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders.
• Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
• Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates machinery and equipment; replaces parts as needed.
• Adheres to all plant safety policies and participates in safety and Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Provides guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.

Works under limited supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.* Performs tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.* Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.* Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.* Assembles, installs, adjusts, and calibrates mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment. Dismantles, repairs, rebuilds, and replaces equipment and parts as needed.* Adheres to all plant safety policies. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between26.00 to32.00. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases.
